The introduction to publishing really opened my eyes up to the actual meaning of publishing. It is not just a matter of books and printing as previously thought. How many different ways (modes) do we make things public or known? What different kind of cultures/societies/individuals do they produce?
EXPRESSION!
Facial expressions as publishing – what is being communicated through the various facial expressions? This form of publishing happens almost naturally and unconsciously to some degree. The way we feel is expressed through the way we move our facial muscles to physically publish a virtual thought/idea/feeling.
